2011

We spent January catching up on medical appointments and home maintenance. We had a tankless water heater installed, so we no longer have a water heater in the service porch.  We then joined friends in Quartzsite, AZ for the giant swap meets. We really didn't see much we couldn't live without,  but did spend some money!

In February we joined the Kamper Klub in Lake Elsinore for a few lazy days.
We met with some Rotary RV Fellowship friends in Indio, CA for the Date Festival and Riverside County Fair.

March brought  a campout in Hemet, CA where we celebrated St. Patrick's Day with Corned Beef and Cabbage and Irish Coffee. We then took a Railroad tour in Filmore with the UCLA Retirees Association. Leah's sister, Mary, celebrated her 65th birthday with a wonderful Italian dinner.

We went  to Salvang, CA in April with the RV Fellowship of Rotarians for good fellowship, eating and tours.

In May we met the RVF in Arkansas, then went to the National Rally in New Orleans.

At the beginning of June we attended the South West Computer Conference in San Diego, followed by a camp out at Lake Elsinore.
On June 13 we stopped at an animal shelter and came home with Samantha, a shepherd/lab mix. She is a handful and very much needs some training.

Throughout July and August we dealt with dog training. Samantha is getting better, but still has a mind of her own!

We were with the RVF in September for a "rolling rally" in NE Oregon and Washington. From there we spent  a weekend with Jean, then stopped at the Thousand Trails Lake of the Springs Preserve near Marysville, CA.  After that we again joined the RVF for a rally at Lake Mead and Hoover Dam. in October.

In November we joined the Kamper Klub again in Hemet for friendship and good food.
Due to a change in plans everyone was at our house for Thanksgiving instead of going to Jean's. We had a great time anyway.

December was busy with the usual Holiday preparations. We were in San Juacinto for a few days with the Kamper Klub. The Rotary Club, the UCLA Retirees, and the LA Computer Society all had Holiday dinners. Jean was here for a few days, so we had some very nice bonding time.

HAPPY 2012 TO ALL!

2012

In January we joined friends in Quartzsite, AZ for the giant swap meets. We really didn't see much we couldn't live without,  but did spend some money and had fun! We bought some items we needed for the RV.
From there we went to Scotsdale, AZ to visit Anita and Glen and family. We celebtated  Glen's 80th birthday and caught up with all their family, including beautiful great grandchildren.

In February we joined the Kamper Klub in Lake Elsinore for a few lazy days. The lake was beautiful with a lot of ducks. As usual, the food was good and abundant!

HAPPY 2012 TO ALL!
