Today we sailed up to the Hubbard Glacier. The view of the snow and ice covered mountains all along the way was spectacular! We stood on the aft end on the top deck. The wind was freezing! We had to be so bundled up we could hardly move enough to take pictures. At one point we sailed through a thick fog. All was worth it when we saw the glacier. There were icebergs and floating ice that limited how close the ship could get to the glacier. We watched one ice berg turn over. We saw an otter. After about three hours of freezing we came in for hot soup and coffee. The ship stopped for awhile before turning around so we could take pictures from all around the ship through the glass windows. After taking a rest Leah had a cup of tea and a cookie and then did a little workout in the gym. We attended an interesting hpnotism show before dinner.
